Silent teacher

If trees could walk, talk and work

they would be better then us

for they know the mysteries of the surface.

They’d know exactly what to do

to cure the incurable.

The secrets of underneath

would be unfold.

Amazingly they would be better and

human beings could certainly learn from them.

But even though their silent

as the night they are teachers

like wise old people

teaching us silently.

  1. I love trees. I think they’re my spirit animal (or at least… life force?)
Once a wise person told me that if you’re ever angry, go yell at a tree. They absorb the negativity gracefully and use it to grow stronger.
Oh and thanks for ‘liking’ my poem!
